Smile Programming ESC BL35X

I have a BL35X in TREX 450 Pro FBL ( Beast ) and another BL35X in Trex 450 SE upgraded to FBL head and 3gX with DX8 transmitter.

I have had frustration programming the ESC. Ive found posts in here with same issues.
I follow the advice to make the throttle curve linear 0 to 100 in all flight modes. Ive made sure throttle hold was both on or off ( didnt help) Still have had frustration. The issue is that the ESC does not enter program mode when I go to turn on with full throttle position.

I found a solution that has worked. I set up a new ( dummy) heli model with all data reset and NO INPUT of any kind The new dummy model will allow the ESC to enter program mode. I go ahead and enter the parameters I want for the ESC. Problem solved. Then when I switch to the actual Heli set up in transmitter, the program in ESC is there and working.

I have no idea why I need to do this, but it seems that the programmed heli has some setting that causes ESC to ignore the attempt to enter program mode. Rather than go on a ghost chase for the phantom issue, the Dummy totally fresh HELI works for me as a means to get ESC to enter program mode.

Any one have any idea what is happening? Any one have the programming issue?

You have to re-bind your receiver with the new curves put in. Might not make sense, but if it got trained with it at certain levels, it'll likely not see full throttle until you get it all set straight again.

You might also have the throttle reversed for this particular model. Have you tried changing that yet?

Default ESC Programming

The throttle was not reversed. However the suggestion about rebinding could be the reason. Im not using receiver with the 3GX, just two satellites. In any case, I am getting around it all by using my brand new Dummy model in TX just for programming the ESC. Its less trouble than resetting curves and more binding.

Thanks all, as always its amazing what solutions are here.
