Default Second guessing my decision

After watching a few videos on setting up a yxz controller I am reconsidering my decision to get that and am now considering a microbeast with a satellite.

Wow the ar7200bx was so straight forward to set up on the 450x.

Has anyone used the yxz controller on an Align 250 pro dfc?

I am excited about the overall size of the heli but the build may be difficult due to the gorillaesque fingers I have. Also the only size mip driver I could find was a 1.27 mm not 1.3. Would that be an adequate size? Is a 3.5 mm ball link resizer required or just a bonus.

I still have a few weeks before the kit comes.

1.27 is OK... it gives a hair extra wiggle room which can be a plus on brand new screws. I have both and try to use the 1.3 as much as possible but will pick up the 1.27 if a head is too tight.

The ball link sizer is a nice to have, not strictly required and you can certainly live without it.

Havent used either the BX or the ZYX

I have ZYX (not the -s version) in my 250. So far so good to my needs - stable hovering practice. I like the PC software interface to set it up more than BX. With BX, you have to use the button on the gyro itself along with the TX sticks. With ZYX, I mainly use PC software to setting the gyro/heli. BX will give you more fine tuning such as the collective pitch range at each individual end while ZYX only allow user to setup 1 collective pitch value for both end points. You get what you pay for.

You can also use a .05" driver. Its a cross over size just like a 2.0 mm and a 5/64.

0.05" = 1.27 mm

If you're using MIP drivers... there *is* a difference that you can instantly tell between the 1.27 and 1.30
