What are you smoking?

Aside from the fact that the 130 is a variable pitch tail and Liftbag already gave a motor driven tail a test on the 130.

It flies horribly. Not smoking nothing. Tail doesn't hold worth a dam*, cyclic is mushy, tail is imprecise. Not one good thing about that heli. My mCP X BL was better than that thing, and thats saying a lot.

Not trying to get a debate going, but the trex 150 is nothing of bind and fly setup like the bl is. You have to spend a ton of time tuning the 150 and setting it up. Once you do it flys circles around a bl. Faster cyclic, piro comp, gobs and gobs of power, tail comp adjustments as well as a wide range of tail gains for fine tuning, individual servo centering and swash height adjustments within the fbl unit. The bl is a great entry level in its size where as the 150 is a quality grade heli.

And I did spend a lot of time tuning it. Several weeks. It flies terribly. Worst micro I've ever flown.

Maybe you just got a bad one, sort of like everyone who bought a 130..

just kidding... we all love our 130's cough , once its been replaced a few times.

Heh Heh.

I'm with Nick. Add a second washer to the head, dial the cyclic gain up and the mushiness is gone. The tail hold is vibes 98% of the time(this is where you would have problems on the 130x). I found that by balancing the blades, the main motor, and the tail motor/blade assembly, that it fixed most of my tail issues. I still had some wag if I had the gain high enough to hold, but that was to be expected.

Now I'm BlHeli and it's awesome. Far and away a better machine than my BL, as long as you don't crash it.
