Default Radius Arms

Here's a tip from Charley:

Tech tip:

Radius arm Bearings; the flange bearing are a press fit into the pockets

How your arms should look installed

You should see the posts machined on the lever.

Some folks have had concerns over grip tightness. Charley posted in reply to those concerns, here's a video to show that it's pretty much normal.

Will do. I have 57 flights on mine so far, so it's about due.

Thanks! Next up, we're going to delve into the tail assembly. That should be up by Wednesday around this time.

I have the Tail video done, but I need to edit it some. I'll be putting it up ASAP; most likely tomorrow sometime.

The Rush 750 tail assembly is a work of art and a study in tight tolerances. In this video we show you some ways to make your tail assembly buttery smooth!

Default Tech Tips

Thanks Scott for taking the time to make the Tech Tip Vids, they have been very helpful. I am getting ready to assemble the tail assembly tonight. If you would do one more I know it would be very helpful too many. The bell crank assembly's with the spacer, mine was tight also and had to sand it just a little. That is a step that you have to be very careful with, to much and you will need a new spacer and also it can be tricky if you have the elevator holding it on the other side. Its a little hard too explain all of it so if you could do a Tech Vid on that it would sure help out alot of people I'm sure. Thanks again Scott https://www.helifreak.com/images/smilies/cheers.gif

Thank you for taking the time to watch them. I love getting feedback, good or bad and yours has made my day.

Doing the bell crank tech tip is something that I know needs to get done so I will get started on that this weekend.

Thank you again!

Scott

Thanks Kev and Jay! These videos are fun to do. Though the tail video took longer than I expected--editing, rendering and uploading. It's all fun!

Default Tech Tip video... Gear mesh.

In this video we discuss how to achieve a proper main gear/pinion gear mesh.

[ame]http://youtu.be/qFtYJzmp9FQ[/ame]

This video is blocked in Germany due to legal reasons. As such, I apologize to our German friends. The giveaway is open to all non-sponsored pilots in any country except Germany (no offense, you can't see the video for the reason mentioned above).

This started off as a tech tip for the bell cranks. During recording, my tripod broke. After that, I could not get the angle I wanted for the video. I haven't forgotten the request. I will be getting a new tripod and get the bell crank tech tip video done as soon as possible.

Scott

Thanks, Bryan! Today, after work I'm going to get started on the Bell Cranks Tech Tip video. I bought the new tripod yesterday so I'm good to go.
