Thumbs up Cool KDE 130X Tail Case

I just received a notice the new 130X tail case from KDE has come out. Looks awesome and allows for 2, 3, and 4 high quality bearings for rock solid tail performance! It also appears at 1.6 g weight it might even come in .7 g lighter than the Lynx. Whew, that is only .3 g more than stock!

I just installed the LYNX Tailcase on my #2, and whats cool is when you screw in the solid side cover you end up with a 1 piece solid tail box which is less likely to distort.Thats where I think the xtra wieght comes in. Ihave the KDE on the way for #3 and I'm thinking with adding xtra bearings it will bring the weight up. For my type of flying weight doesnt matter.

I thought Lynx was going to be lighter, not heavier?

+2. I hear shipping tomorrow and will hopefully go back together as a 3S setup like TNT reviewed if NCCraig will do some soldering for me since he's already familiar with my small scale soldering skills .

I didn't think the LYNX tail case was even out yet? Odd, when I checked their site this weekend I didn't see any reference, but I see helidirect has them and I found a page on their site doing a google search. Looks like KDE has them on weight. I'm kind of surprised.

Anyone have a chance to play with both side by side for comparison?

Mine shipped today also

Looks really good, I like the space for the extra bearings, with these small bearings they all seem to have some slop, and 4 bearings really help.

Just ordered mine today with tail fin as a combo (Lynx). Since I've already decided to sell another one of my birds and get another 130x, I'd like to hear which is better

My stock tail box currently has 4 bearings and my tail is almost vibe-free. If I need a case for this stocker, I'll definitely consider KDE.

My other bling out 130x has all lynx and pretty much vibe-free also
