![]() Now, you got a very big fan in Germany, because you saved me some €€€ and I don't have to buy a new Tx
![]() I followed your instrunction step by step and it works almost perfect. I just have a problem with the GPS-Mode (or I missunderstood the function of this mode?). Up to the middle of the throttle, everything works fine, but when I push the throttle further, Fail-Safe will be activated. Is this correct? Thank you so much! |

![]() Hi EcureuilSh,
What you described isn't correct, make sure all your throttle curved are flat and that you have a linear 0-50-100 pitch curve, your throttle in normal should be flat to have GPS enabled, at Idle 1, flat for Att mode, idle 2 for normal mode, and throttle hold for failsafe, also make sure that the hover pitch and hover throttle are at INH on the TX Menu |

![]() Hi Locks,
I have a Futaba T9CP with a Spektrum 2.4 Ghz module and an AR7010 RX, at the moment I have a NAZA but no GPS yet. It works pretty well in PPM but fail safe menu is available only in PCM, what can I do to solve this problem? My other question is, enhanced fail safe methods and IOC setups are not working in the NAZA assistant program, will it activate when I plug in the GPS? Many thanks in advance. |

![]() Hi lrrps,
Yes, the failsafe menu in the TX is only to setup failsafe on a Futaba RX, since you use a Spektrum RX, you have to follow the Spektrum instructions to set the failsafe on this RX, on Spektrum RX, the failsafe is set when you bind the RX, what you'll need to do, is place your TX inputs to where it should be to get the NAZA in failsafe, then re-bind the RX without moving the inputs, the RX should bind and record these inputs for his failsafe positions. |

![]() @locks, I just wanted to personally say Thank You for this guide! I recently built a DJI F550 w/gps and I have the same basic radio(7C mine is the airplane model), even though the 3 way switch is on the other side, it was pretty easy using your guide.
After getting everything calibrated and setup, and getting up the nerve to try this thing, I had my first flight with it today, no crashes, and even with it being a windy day, it held it's own. Thanks again! Charley |

![]() I just ordered an F450 w/Naza lite & GPS. I'll be using my Futaba 6EX & R617FS receiver. I guess the Setup will be pretty much the same as with the 7 channel tx, I should be ok to setup GPs/Atti/Manual, I don't have a three way switch. channels 5 & 6 are two way switches. So I'll be setting them to ch5 GPS/Atti & ch6 IOC off/ course lock.
Does this sound correct?

![]() This sounds Ok if you dont want to fly manual mode, I don't know the 6EX so can't comment on how to set it up, as for IOC off/course lock on the same switch, you wont need to mess with mixing, this should be very straight forward, just make sure in the assistant software that all switch move the sliders where's expected

![]() Hi psychopathfpv,
Please make sure every switch and stick respond as they should in the assistant software, I have this beep if my idle switch is on (the switch I use for RTH). If you have the airplane version of this radio, it's also possible the conditions for the beeps aren't the same (I use heli version of the radio) Again, make sure your throttle stick operate correctly under a 3 flying mode before attempting to fly, as well as all switch conditions, if so, you are good to go.
