Flying in qatar

Hi,
I'm off out to qatar working does anyone know of any flying sites in or around doha?
Also will i get away with taking my trex 250, batteries, charger and dx8 in my suitcase?

Hi,

There are spots where people fly in Qatar, check rcqatar.com... I have been to the site once though it wasn't the usual Friday morning when most seem to congregate there, just haven't had the chance yet. I usually just go to an open area not too far from my house.

As for bringing along your heli in your bag, its probably ok. Technically to buy and fly rc models you need to get a membership in the Qatar Scientific Club. Its easy to get and costs about $30 equivalent. So there is a small chance they would hold it at the airport, if this happens just get your membership and tell them you have a model held at the airport and they will give you a letter to customs so they can release it.
