Default Logo 600 Still Viable?

I have a NIB Logo 600 that I am getting ready to build that I bought new in 2014... Will I have trouble finding replacement parts? I queried a few of the parts numbers @ mikado-usa and found several backordered....

I have Edge 603 blades and 95mm Edge tail blades.

What motor / sc is popular and viable for this model in 2019?

Would like to consider staying with 6s? No extensive 3d possible with my skillset.

Have a 5.2 Vbar SL still new in the box to use with DX8

Just found a 4035-560, Kontronik Jive 80, and a 12 tooth pinion in my kit. Thank you ReadyHeli 5 years later!

Heck I just need batteries and a charger...

Parts are available at a ton of places. All brands seem to be out of stock this year. Maybe helis are starting to come back.

It's still one of the best 600 helis I've ever put my hands on.

Old parts and new are almost all compatible. Should be supported for years.
Ah Clem and mikehunt like this.

Sounds like your all set. Theres been a few tweaks to the current 600 over the years that you can add or not. 600 is still my favorite size heli for performance and flight time.

The 560 is a 10s motor that can be used on 12s also. Seems the 10s is a odd size and 12s is the norm. But my 600sx has the 4035-450 on 12s and itís balls on.

The only issue (depending on the version) is:

Old Logo 6003D/600SE Main Shaft (4075) is 205mm long and no longer available.

The new 600/690SX Main Shaft (4772) is 211mm long for counter bearing. (Needs washers without CB).

(This will not allow most 6s 5000 mAh packs to fit in the old frame)

My 2012 600SE (shortened to 600 in 2015) has been down ever since I bent my last main shaft.

Of course I could upgrade and buy the counterbearing kit, one-piece head block, and new frames that have more room for the pack, but it's a bit of a hassle (complete tear-down and $$).

Thinking in the future, I might just buy the newest 600SX kit and use what I have left of my 600 3D for some of the compatible parts (which many are).

I can't wait to hear a Logo fly again. My last Logo 600 was the most perfect heli I ever owned... hence I saved this one full kit.

Put it together , get a couple 10s packs and fly it. They worked great back then and it still well today. . If it goes in some day hard you may have to update a few things parts wise but nothing to worry about.
cshutchinson and bikneli like this.

the same here: Logo 600 is one of my favorite birds... and the "oldest" in my fleet too... zero problems to keep it running...

after one crash some yrs ago i replaced complete tail unit with newest one, last winter i replaced (damaged ) main shaft (now 4620), head (now one-piece 4619) and (original) swash was replaced by Lynx 600/690.

it's an up-to-date 600SX now (besides the CF frame)... i am using a Pyro 650 rewound to 860kV w/ 13T & 6S... from 1500-2100... from 4-12 minutes.

@TO: just build it, fly it, love it....

Ciao
Michael

With the bits the OP has it won't be a 6S setup and on 12S the 5000mAh packs are too big anyway.

Also, the all plastic 600 (still available) still uses the 4620 short shaft 199mm and old counter bearing.

Is a great motor on 6S, 13 tooth 690mm. Run 13-1500rpm and it's a blast.
Get SE stretch kit, VTX697 and go!
