Awesome! Can't wait to get one of those. I would like to see a blade 500 3d pic side by side with a 500x. Come and think of it I haven't seen people post their 500 3d?

That's because so far only ONE person here has posted that they OWN a 3D!!

My LHS just sent the one and only 3D they had back to HH.

I am pretty sure they are basically the same heli with a few different/new parts.

I was finally able to get it out and into the air today, but only for one pack. For a first flight I am very happy with how it flies. I can see flying this thing a lot soon as I get some more batteries. I will try and post a video up tomorrow

Good to hear. Any basis of comparison that it flies like? WAAAY overpowered like the 450X, or more like a Align 500?

Here is a video of me Flying earlier today. Nothing too special as I am only a mediocre pilot

Hopefully I will have a better flight and video for tomorrow.

I think im still going to fly the crap out of the 450 and just wait on the 550 because its about the same price. And the 500 is not much bigger than the 450 to justify spending what i could get the 550 for. Hope yall enjoy the 500 though.

The 500 flies much better than any 450 I have ever owned. It is also nice being near half the weight of the 550. The thing I really like about it, is it flies for a solid 4 minutes on such a cheap small capacity battery.

Here is my 500x ready to go. It is completely stock except for the servo wire sleeves.

Thumbs up

I'm not sure if I'll get one yet as I already have an MSH Prôtos stretched but being familiar with BLADE Helis, I wouldn't put it past me to get one if money allows.

I do hope that as more pilots get the 500X, it proves to be a solid overall platform and not plagued by manufacturing snafu's.

However, I'm hoping to see more video's and photo's soon...

I did go through the setup. It was right on. I mostly look for servo centering so everything is 90 degrees. It was set perfect, so I just proceeded to verify the default settings per the manual.
