A picture would sure help but it sounds like something was not reassembled correctly.

is there a hair line break in the loop of the arm?

are they twisted the loops ?

is there binding in the arms if you unhook the servos?

Compare the ball to the other control arm's ball to see if it is bent down closer to the swash ring.

Disconnect control rods at the servos and manually move the swash and look for binding.

That linkage is usually called a radius arm and although it's hard to tell in the picture it does look damaged.

You should not be able to pull it off with your fingers and it needs to ride smoothly on the linkage ball.

Replace the radius arm if there's any damage, IMO.

I would also check that all the head linkages and blade grips move smoothly with no binding.
