Default Kosmik sd card bsod`s my pc

I am trying to read the microSD card on my computer, and every time i put it in the adapter and put it in the sdcard slot on my pc it bsod`s (blue screen of dea..). It looks like its working at first because i get the autorun popup, i just close that without selecting any option on it, and then the computer crashes. If i leave the card in the slot when its restarting i can read the files on the card, but every time i try to put the card in with the computer running it bsod`s, strange cause i have other microSD cards for my phone and i never have had this happening.
Could it be the windows autorun feature that is causing this?
What will happen if i format the card on my computer, ofc i will loose the logs on the card, but will the kosmik start the log numbers at 1 again? or continue from the number its at now?
I also tried this with another microSD card adapter that i had from before, same result.

no user application could cause bsod. It must be somthing wrong at kernel/driver level. Just my guess, you either has a corrupted driver, or even worse, a maliacious software running in windows kernel that tries to access the SD card that happens to have an unusual file format.

or maybe it is your antivirus software who tries to scan the sd card.

Tested with the 16gb sd card from my phone, works with no problem, wonder if there is a problem with the sd card for my kosmik, could i just put in another formated card in the kosmik? Does it have to be a 4gb card like the one i got with the kosmik?

No problem to format the SD. But better to use the sdformatter from sdcard.org.

Nothing could can cause a BS (blue screen, not bull shit), even not under Windows.

You may also use a 2GB card. The file system for up to 2GB media capacity is FAT16, above FAT32, KOSMIK supports both. So also 8, 16, .. GB.
