Default Favorite update feature

I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate my favorite new feature since I updated to 4.5.

I absolutely love that it waits until I set it down to initialize. It used to be pretty finicky and half the time I would have to unplug and plug it back in and even set it on the ground to plug it in and initialize because my table wobbles. Now it's so easy, I plug it in and set it down and wait a few seconds and I get a blue led every single time. That's a pretty damn convenient feature. Thanks.

Yup, this was a much requested feature on the forum and Angelos was listening. Love the way it works now, blue light every single time :-)

Hmmm, that might just be one of the things that motivates me to update mine. I dread the thought of updating all six! The bigger heavier helis are not a problem but I know exactly what you mean having to power down and try again, with some of mine it's very fiddly and I often end up just flying with the solid red light anyway.

Before the v4 update it was a bit frustrating to have that red led on startup, especially when it was windy. There had been times when I had tried to initialize it 4 times at which point I quit and flew with the red led. Now, plug it in and forget it. Awesome feature.

Shouldn't make a difference what you're using for the initialization. It's purely down to how much the model moves after the receiver has bound.

With v4 Angelos changed it so the Vortex will wait as long as it needs until it detects no movement, and will initialize then. He actually designed it so you could plug in a battery and carry the model all the way to the flight line, and it would still initialize ok when you set it down.
