![]() OK, equalised the pitch curves in throttle hold on and off but it still does the same thing. I hooked up the ZYX to the software, went to the servo trim page and when switching they are all move slightly, including the tail servo. I will look tonight at the trim settings, I am at work at the mo. Thanks, Mark.

![]() I had the same thing happen with a CX-3X1000. After that started I had problems with the tail holding.
Did a reset on FBL (6 blinking lights and moving aileron stick left and right) . Reset up and all is well. Reason for problem? Don"t know. Richard |

![]() Sorry, dumb question:
Is the "Cyclic Gain" refered to below the adjustment shown on the software main screen as Main Rotor Roll or Pitch or is it one of the Advanced Main Rotor Settings of Roll or Pitch: P, I or D? Appriciate the help. "Also, start increasing cyclic gain 5 points at a time and test by giving quick stabs to the cyclic stick. Keep increasing the gain 5 points at a time until you see the disk wobble after quick stabs to the cyclic stick, then go back down 5 points." "By this point you should have a pretty solid foundation to move on to advanced tuning. The cyclic and tail gains should be pretty close to optimal, though perhaps a bit on the high end, we'll tune them next." |

![]() That's very common, especially if they are low-cost servos. Mine range from about 25 to just under 40

Do you know if these base settings can be set using the Tarot hand held programmer, I see the advanced settings in the Swash Tuning Menue and perhaps the Swash Roll / Pich Agility but not the base Roll and Pitch Gains? |

![]() They're there, but in a different submenu. I can't recall exactly where though.

![]() The menue tree is per the image attached, I do not see a Total Gain.
Basic Setup - this is where you thibk it would be but the only gain seeting here is the gyro Tail Tuning - all tail related Swash Tuning - has everything but, all the advances settings and the Swash Roll / Pitch Agility but no Swash Roll / Pitch Gains? Advanced Menue - no gain settings Was at the feild today and it would have been helpfull to be able to tweek the gains. I have see a thread or two on upgrading the firmware of the programer, it seems a little tricky, does anyone know what the newwer programer firmware changed? I am using V3.5 on the Zyx itself. |

![]() I haven't done it, but should be relatively easy - plug in the rudder servo to the ZYX, and swash servos into the Rx. Then, you'll neeed to connect the Rx rudder and tail gain channels to the ZYX. IIRC, the rudder Rx lead has 3 wires, so it will also power the gyro.
