Default I can't figure out how to access mode 5?

Extremely newb to Kontronik Kosmik 160 and for the life of me can't find mode 5.

It goes from 4 beeps to 6 beeps, completely skips 5 beeps lol.

I really wanna try the bailout set up so trying to set this mode up. I updated my progdisc and Kontronik to the most up to date versions, 1.10 and 4.08 I believe they are off the top of my head.

I reset by mode 1 then to mode 4 and can get mode 8 for the bec but seems mode 5 is obsolete lol.

Mode 4 has bail out there isn't a mode 5 on the Kosmik all you have to do is just set your throttle hold at 25% and it will do a fast start instead of soft start. Depending on your transmitter it may be a little different throttle percentage. Test it on the ground to see if the head speed comes back quickly. Just make sure the head doesn't stop all the way or you could strip a gear

Thanks for the response, so mode 5 is a Heli jive thing then? That's the video I watched lol..

Is it the same procedure then, 4 beeps raise throttle wait for conformation tone then flick throttle hold and wait for telephone ring?

not needed just set the throttle hold. it is always enabled in mode 4 you just have to set your hold curve to 25% to use it.

Damn, this esc is so easy compared to anything else I've used

I'm using Futaba, so does the +30% throttle hold still apply?
