Default what would YOU like to see next from blade?

I'd like to see Blade keep the same price of a product, not release it at one price then lower it down the road... This makes me now wait instead of buying when something first comes out!

Right...because the intro price of a Blade CP would be worth it now....

I've changed my mind about Pro series micros:

They need to throw a couple hundred thousand into R&D making electronics less problematic and more durable. Little shock mounts and protective covers... as much as I dislike Walkera, their boards seem to be much higher quality.

Not possible. They spend hundreds of thousands into design and tooling, perhaps close to a million if the design doesn't re-use parts from an existing model. They have no idea how profitable any product will actually be until it's released and they need to recoup that cost relatively quickly. Until they've recouped that outlay, they really can't lower the price, and they shouldn't.

I would ask that they start including a couple of items into replacement parts bags... when you buy a set of skids for $5.99-$7.99, it should come with two. Or they should offer bulk packs of items that are prone to breaking.

I'm not a fan of their pricing structures, but they have to maintain profitability for brick and mortar stores, and that's one of the reasons why HH is so popular and what makes picking up a replacement part so convenient.

Well, I had a friend think it was funny to run up from behind me... swatted my Genius CP out of the air as hard as he could with a tennis racket... The whole bird was basically totalled... the board survived. I've had nano boards die from throttle hold drops into dirt. Two MQX boards died for absolutely no reason. MCPX BL? I had one go bad mid-air, but to be fair, the other two MCPX BL boards I killed were from spectacular smacks into stuff.

Having fried two boards already on my mCPx I say there's big room for improvments.

I want to see the Tandem come back... Maybe use two mSR's instead of the mCX, though

An upgraded SR might be nice too. Something like the 300x but not as high performance, and geared towards novices who aren't going to be doing extreme 3D.

I've been saying this for a while now! A fixed pitch easy to produce tandem would be nice, but a collective pitch that could do inverted hovering would be crazy.

Great minds think alike I guess.

Never thought of a CP tandem... But I guess if they're making functional V-22's, a CH-47 going inverted isn't out of the realm of possibilities.

While you're at it, make it an X (FBL)!

I'd like to see an update to the 450x wich is said to be on it's way, and a new nano cpx.
I would also like to see an update to Phoenix.

That is all... for now.

Ahahahaha! Lol. That's the best laugh I've had in probably a week. Not that kicking girlfriends is funny.... but jokes about kicking girlfriends can be funny. Very funny! Lol.

But seriously, one should never hit someone else's helicopter with a tennis racket unless given permission. Ever.

There is a massive shakeup going on in the micro heli industry at the moment. There have been whole scale poaching of design staff from hobby companies including Walkera, Nine Eagles and HiSky by toy companies such as WL Toys and San Huan. I would not be surprised if an attempt was made on the manufacturing partner of HH as well.

Walkera has been particularly badly affected which explains why they have not introduced a completely new model for over a year. The market will soon be flooded with Blade and Walkera clones. The transmitters are likely to be non-programmable but they will allow certain aerobatics to be carried out by a switch.

There is also this massive push into FPV, AP, and mutli-rotors as well. For this reason, I highly doubt that Blade will be introducing a new micro anytime soon. It is completely possible that Align has fallen into a trap with its Trex 150.

The clones are looking good!

WL Toys 925 - designed by poached Nine Eagles (Helimax) engineers. The Nine Eagles 125A was itself a clone of the Walkera Genius CP
