Default Thanks guys

I appreciate the your support guys, I really do!

It matters to me that newcomers to this forum find my work helpful. And the fact that you more experienced guys suggest newbies seek out my settings is a pretty nice pat on the back.

I wish I could share with you all the PM's I get from starry eyed newbies all over the world finely able to fly there MCPX for the first time without it boring a hole in the wall at the other end of the room or breaking there helicopter. Then a few weeks or months later I often get a hello telling me they are now flying outdoors in idle up and having a blast.

When I began this little project, I had no Idea how many hundreds of hours work it would require setting things up, taking pictures and creating the documents in word then posting the threads and linking them all together. I have enjoyed every minute of it!

Bob wares pretty big boots and I study his work diligently. Bob
Where do you think I learned most of this stuff ?
Thanks for the 10 guys!
Ron

Not short term.
Blade has come out with so many new helicopters. I just can't keep up.

I worked on 120SR tutorial for many months, MCPX tutorial almost a year likely 1000 hours creating the documents posting and taking pictures. Both helicopters are no longer being manufactured.

I was thinking about doing a From the ground up MCPX-BL Tutorial but it will be a while.

I spent a year working on a 450X tutorial for newbies. I likely have 2000 hours work in it. They have discontinued the helicopter before I got the tutorial ready to post. Now it's 360CFX, don't think I'm going to do any more for a while as this stuff is unbelievably time consuming and getting very expensive.

I bought my first 450 3d for $500.00 with DX6i lipo, lipo charger, nicads for the DX6i the works!

Now it's
$600.00 for a 360X
$300.00 for a DX6
Another hundred for a lipo conversion for the DX6
$100.00 for a charger and on and on and on.

Blade has come out with some nice stuff but it's getting very pricy!
I have been flying my old nitro fly bar stuff and working on a Trex 550e 222 scale helicopter rather than dropping a grand on another helicopter that will be discontinued in 6 months.

Ron,

I have read many of your threads, and I sincerely appreciate the effort you put into this hobby. One of your set-up's helped me actually tame The Spawn down so I could at least get her into the air.

I hear ya about the amount of time it takes for this stuff.
I started a diabetes thread over at my racing forum.
Taking care of that took a lot of time, but fortunately I didn't have to make any video's.

It always makes my day when someone tells me that one of my tutorials helped them. Thanks for the note!

You are quite welcome, sir.
One thing I love about this place is how we can all help each other.
We all need mental help, of course, but if we can fly, we feel better.
