Let's be positive. Summer's on its way.

Already we have an extra 2m:21s of daylight since the solstice here in Manchester UK.

Even if it is still miserable, before we know it we'll be tanking our way through at 3 or 4 minutes a day.

Off out in 30minutes for a quick flight just before dusk, making full use of my extra minute or so.

Well,,, bugger me. Guess what time it is,,, again?

yep, it's that time of year, God, how I hate it!
Every birthday, ( just had another ), I keep thinking I'm getting too old for this shit.

We had one of the warmest November's I can remember.

Now we are making up for it. Locked in artic freeze at the moment.

Got contractors coming thru the new digs next week replacing carpet and appliances so i checked the weather. Cold and snow. just great,,,,

lol, quality Tom. You never let us down and I was wondering just how long it would be before you'd bring it to our attention this year.

On the bright side, give it another 3 weeks, and summer will be on its way.

To risk standing on a soap box, global warming is a fact of life.

Don't know if you caught that last tv show about it, but it was very good, "After the flood".
Telsa claims if the had a total of just 5 of those super factories they just made they could eliminate the 'car problem', which according to the show
was 1/2 of the problem.
The other half, we need to eat chicken and give up on beef. Cow farts, more damaging than anybody realized.

Like I said our entry into this winter season was the mildest I remember. By Halloween we usually have some nasty weather. Hell it was 60 F. until 3 weeks ago!

Anyway, with 10 pounds of titanium in the left knee, a destroyed right knee and my arthritis, I'm in fine shape.
Only concession I had a few days ago when the snow came was I didn't have to even leave the house if I didn't want to. Hell, I could just close all the blinds and not even look outside until April if that's what I want.
Just love retirement!

Son of a,,,,
just looked out the window, there's an inch of snow, again.

Now, normally, at the old place I would scoff and not worry about it.

Today, however, I have a problem,,,

my entrance is a wood deck facing north, sun never hits it, nor much of the sidewalk. That deck is slick as an ambulance chasing lawyer so every frigging time it even gets a dusting I got to take care of it immediately.

I need to find me somebody to take care of this for me. After surgery I will be incapable all winter long.

Speaking of which, best get busy out there. I got to leave for the game soon.
Next 10 day forecast shows no let up in this crap!

I HATE freaking winter!
