Thanks. For us, the building is a big part of the fun, so we don't mind the time it takes. We savor it.

The weather broke just a bit and I was able to spin her up in my back yard. WHAT A MONSTER. I'm a 750 size newbie so just spinning up this beastie got my adrenaline flowing. I didn't even go to idle one since the space between my pool and garden just wasn't big enough to make me feel comfortable with it. The maiden will have to be at our field.

It spun up nice and smooth and everything seemed fine from what I can tell. I'll dump the logs later and see what they say.

MONSTER!

Rick

You know, if it was me, I might have just popped up for a quick hover. Congratulations, Rick! When you get to maiden, let us know we have one more flying Rush in the ALeeS family!

I wanted to, but if things didn't go right, I would have had no room to recover. Maybe next weekend.

I looked at my log and it looks like I had a number of significant vibe events. I'm assuming it was because I was spinning it up and back down a number of times and not because of a real vibe problem.

Hey Rick,

Could be the spool-up/down thing. I did look at your pictures pretty closely. Do you have the wire to your FBL sensor tie-wrapped down? I've noticed that wires to FBL units like to have their wires more free and that doing so limits transmission of vibrations to the sensors. It might be worth a shot to cut that tie wrap and remove it, if your maiden yields the same results.

I kept the tie wrap pretty far away for just that reason, but that will be the first thing I do if the maiden shows a problem. Thanks.
