very nice!
not sure what your flying skills are like, and im not sure how strong these canopies are, but if it were me i'd avoid the temptation of swapping it with the stock canopy until you feel very comfortable flying the 450x. i'd hate to break such a nice canopy not long after getting it!

Thank you.

There pretty durable but yes, I may swop it for pic's but then It will come off until I know the bird's bad habits.

Sitting here waiting for UPS. Ordered my 450x at 8am yesterday and living so close it's getting delivered today. Along with my 450x case and a boat load of parts. $700.00 worth between heli and parts and accessories. .

Tonight's plan.

Loctite motor mod.
Drop down diode and 6V mod.
Hot glue the can (forget its name) to the board mod.
Color scheme mods. (landing skids, stab, tail fin, possibly boom and boom supports)

Nice man I know you are ready to get that thing in the air!. I would do a few shake down flights before you put that new canopy and color on her just to be safe.

Everyone says "black stripe to servo" but I have correct diodes but mine look like they are black with a silver stripe. So I'm double checking on direction to mount it in so I don't mess this up.

For what it's worth, a diode has an anode and cathode. The cathode is marked with a stripe.

I have two Fusuno canopies and they are very durable. Had two crashes with one of them, the second one landed inverted (not intentionally, the elevator servo pegged hard forward and flipped the bird). Not a scratch on the canopy. Well worth the high shipping cost.

Pics of my UPS gift yesterday.

As for the spare parts I got? Pic a disassembled 450 with no main frame. lol

Last night I got the:
  • Loctite Motor mod done.
  • Switched it to 6V. (posted a pic of were my switch was, right above the servo wires, for others looking at doing the mod)
  • Some color scheme changes done.
Today will be the hot glue mods and the step down diode.
Then go threw the rest of the normal set up and color scheme changes.
