Thank you much. Just like the one I made in my Phoenix 4.
Red boom will be added after I have to replace my boom.

Rich,
I think you have done a great job. I would make the pic on the right your avatar. And I am not just saying that because I am uncomfortable looking at men with their shirts off.

Put cheep ones on until I know the heli has no issues and I have the hang of it.
AKA: Bust up cheap blades first. 4 sets of these are same price as one set of OEM ones.

Well seen as I got everything done before Sat. I worked on tweaking CG of the heli.
I like to do piro's and why nake the FBL unit work harder than it needs to.

How's this for nailing CG? (yes I compensated for the weight of the string level.)

Of coarse when I go to colored booms this will need to be adjusted again.

Thanks Allen. I'll get video's of my first flights. This is the biggest and first 450 size I will be flying. Heli size the biggest over all to date was the 120SR, CP heli the mCPx-v2.

Between Nano and its twitchiness and the Phoenix sim with tons of air time on 500'size's.
I think as long as I keep my head I'll do fine.

Hey Rich, nice to see things coming together with that 450x.

While you're learning to throw that thing around, I'd suggest getting some FRP fiberglass blades. You can get them in 325 and 335MM. They are great when learning new moves because they shatter on impact and save the head. I've been using them for awhile now, and the last few crashes saved me blade grips and once even a main shaft (and I'm a professional "learning orientation" hoverer). The spindle ALWAYS warps. Can't do much about that.

Here's the link:

And congrats on your win!

Thanks for the input G/B but I'm going to stay away from fiberglass blades. The ones I got now and plan on getting until I get the feeling of it, are CF and are less than $7.00 a pare.
Once I'm used to it I'll go the OEM and Revolution blades. If these cheepies turn out ok for me, I'll stay with them for the white and tipping showing up on them.

But again thanks for the input.
