I would caution against running a single shim above or below. Doing so offsets the blade centre from the center of spindle resulting is an arc motion during pitch changes instead of rotation. This can severely stress the head components, possibly resulting in failure.
Get the proper thickness shims and always use the same thickness above and below.

I was dealing on another AR7200 for one of my birds, BUT now Lynx is selling the MSH Brain. Just a black cased iKon so I think I'll support my sponsor and buy that.

OK I have some assortment of thickness ones. I'll put them above and below.

Thank You for that Knowledge!

I better find shims that'll allow me to run the Revolution main blades on my 300X...the root on the Rev blades are thicker than the Edge's and thinner than stock.

Things are about to heat up. Summer getting closer. Bird wants some new toy's.

What bird wants bird gets.

Teaser:
Stop playing with your building blocks, get out your tools, things are heading in the right direction.

Finally got to test my 450X, and 500X today. Man am I excited! I wonder why the manual suggests zero expo? They were twitchy as hell! I added +30% to the 450X.
Tested much better. Was too dark to try the 500 again.
Again Excited!

They changed the 7 day forecast. Warm but rain and wind.

Swaggerjacker congrats on your test flights. I like 30 expo's on my 450 also.
