I'm back!

Finally took some time off work to finish this thing off with rotary servos:

I also had a chance to get a new Align 150 DFC, modify it and... sad to say, but the Lynx motor and Lynx 47mm prop on my 150 DFC hold great, and I get amazing tail authority. Right now that chopper beats my 130X right out of the water. Did I mention it's crashable? Oh yes, buried that baby at full positive into the ground when hovering inverted, picked it right up and continued.

The problem with my 130X right now is the lack of power. On collective pitch pumps, the engine loads up like crazy and I get no lift. I wonder why. I calibrated the ESC, maybe it's the old battery packs which I left lying around?

I just entered pretty much the same settings that Ben has, and I still have drift and lack of control. My 150DFC spins on a dime, supposedly with no piro optimization, and this 130X still drifts!

I've retired the zyx-s and switched it out first with a minivbar and then a gy280rx. I do no tuning or trouble shooting now, just cycle batteries and fix it when I crash. Flies like a dream
Here is a recent video with gy280, look in the 130 play list and you can find a few minivbar vids. I think I may retire this thread since zyx-s is now discontinued anyway.

130x 3s/ gy280 rx. (3 min 2 sec)

Closing thread. I had fun and learned a lot playing with the zyx-s and did get it to fly quite well, but it was never perfect and now off the market replaced by the s2 which is still getting the bugs worked out.
If you want to replace the 3in1 board I suggest one of the 2 options in these links below, promise you guys won't be disappointed in the results. Don't forget the rotary servos!

Default blade 130 double regulator on xp 12a bec

Good morning to all users of the forum, I am a new user of elifreak, my name is Francesco from Bologna-Italy and I would like to convert my balde 130x with the mod. zyx <(tarot control unit) .I have read your discussion with great interest and would like to ask you some questions even though I realize that it has been a long time since you have spoken about it. I am particularly interested because I am learning piroflips and I hope this mod on the 130x blade makes learning pirouette less difficult.
My 130x blade configuration is as follows:
4 stock linear servos, 2s power supply and eox 1101 bruschless motor.
I thought to use the esc XP 12 A, since the plusch 12 A is too heavy and the other light esc (yge 12 a, Phoenix 10) are nowhere to be found, and therefore I would like to ask you what is the abbreviation of the regulator that must be soldered on the BEC of the xp 12a to have the BEC of 2 A instead of 1A as per the original. I would also ask you for a photo of how it was welded on top of the original one. I would be grateful if you only told me where I can find this data.
I would also like to know the abbreviation of the converter MURATA to lower the voltage of the output of the bec to 4.2 V.
Thanks in advance, I will be immensely grateful if you can answer me.
A GREETING
FRANCIS

I frankly have no idea, but I'd look to swap in 180CFX electronics and servos.
