Great blog. When you say the v922 is lazy when the ht8 has the battery in, what do you mean? I can't get mine to behave as it should. The servos as jerky and the response very slow. I suspect the ht8 to be faulty, but I donct have more than the one to test with. The hti is connected directly to the 9x as in your blog.

My HT8 comes in soon.... (Can't wait.)

I love this heli, and I now have two of them. One is moderately modded. The mods are CF Blades (Great mod. I love em!) and CF Landing skid with boom support. (And I use a 550 mah battery)

The CF landing gear might be unnecessary. Just crashed the stock one while attempting a funnel... HARD crash... and nothing broke.

The CF blades and 550 mah battery are a 10 though!!!

Just me weighing in but I don't think it needs a brushless conversion.
