Hi, I just bought a Protos 500 and this is my first build. I have a Blade 400 that I got from Craigslist, but it was a RTF heli. I've been watching the vids and it's great . I am kind of stuck at the servo links since I am using Hitec HS-5085MG and I don't know how long should I make the rods connecting servos to the swashplate. Thanks in advance,

Default To Bob and Ken and everyone involved in putting up these videos and tutorials...

I can't thank you enough. Really.

I just jumped into the heli side of the R/C hobby (plank flyer for years and someone just gifted me a TREX 450SE V2, a Spektrum DX7 radio, RealFlight G4.5, etc.) and I was clueless about even the basics. The guy that gave me the set-up had it all put together for him at his local shop and decided he didn't have the time to invest in learning the hobby.

I started with all the gear, but no instruction manuals, etc. "Heli Skills and Setup 101" got me up and flying in no time. The information was priceless and I was even able to improve the heli setup and radio programming.

It's commendable that folks would take the time to make all this information available so others have an easier time learning. The good Karma will come back to roost!

Thanks again, I really appreciate it,

Default Swash Plate and Fly Bar Set Up

I don't see anything in this section on swash plate and fly bar set up. Am I in the wrong section?

Edit: found it in the CCPM section.

Thank you for making these videos!! Awesome info - they've been answering all the questions that I've been asking myself about CP helis. There's no one in my area to teach me, so this has been a huge help.

THANKS!!
