Default Spektrum Telemetry Log File Viewer

Hello All,

I am new to the sight and trying to get the Export KML file to work. In the file menu everything is active except KML. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Thanks Darryl

you need to have the gps data selected in the tabs for the export kml file to be active.

Default TLM with ESC and Flight Pack Data

Hi Kevin,

in case you are still looking for TLM files with the new sensors, I can offer you this one with ESC and Flight Pack Data submitted from a JLog2.6 module.

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...-JLog-Jive.TLM

I also tried running the Mac version of Telemetry Viewer on OSX 10.10 but hit a wall as I only have 64-Bit Java available. Is there anything more recent (or a how-to) available for us OSX'ers?

Cheers,
Martin

Thanks Ragge, they look fine. Still got a couple issues to resolve with ESC sensor graphing and then I'll do a new version. Time is still at a premium my end so will be at least a couple of weeks to a month.

It seems like maybe the capacity should start out "full" and then go down.. like opposite as that graph does above. Maybe?

Maybe it would seem like it is getting "used up", instead of "growing" if the line started out high on the left and then ended up low on the right.

Just an idea. Or maybe that could just be an option in the way the graph is presented, since you obviously can't know the final outcome at the start of the file.

Default A note of apreciation

Kevin,

Thanks so much for your work on this software. I am a new telemetry user and your software has allowed me to review the data graphically as well as exporting it to an Excel compatible format.

I am seeing some strange data and will be working on a resolution.

Default Sensor Tabs

Hi All, just curious, but is it possible to disable or hide tabs for sensors that are not installed?

Thanks,

Bob

You can do it in the "custom" section.. but then every time you re-load the program, it all goes back to the way it was before, nothing ever saves, I mean the changes you can make to the views or the changes you make to the color of the lines or thickness of the lines in the graph, etc. it all goes back to default upon each restart unfortunately. It is possible to get a screen without those extra things though.

(uploaded a pic as example of a custom view)
-edit- what the heck? HF shrinks pics and sets quality to - crap. :-/

You should only get tabs for the sensors you have configured in the radio or which the radio receives.

BWX, not sure why you think changes you make to the graph colors, line thickness etc are not saved they should be.

Thats going to be a difficult one to see what is going on as its developed on a Windows platform and then built to run on Mac, so no development tools on mac to analyse what has changed.

They reset after each restart, everything always does, I even have to set it to standard (not metric) every time. The program has no "memory" at all for me, and never has AFAIK.

My PC is up to date.. Win 7 64 Ultimate.

Maybe program expects to find that cfg file somewhere else or something. All files are in the same folder, the one that got made when I unzipped the program.

edit- Just for the heck of it I opened it up again and tried it and all those lines and stuff seem to be the same as I set them (thicker, different colors, etc).. So that's new.

Strange that it all "stuck" from last time I opened the program, about a month ago now.

In the "custom" tab, all the boxes are checked each time, I have to go in and uncheck them still. I guess that's what the post was about in the first place though. Those views cannot be saved.

Hello,

after upgrading my DX9 to 1.08 firmware version, the TLM files became crazy :

http://home.nordnet.fr/davy/RAVE.TLM

Revert to 1.07 resolved my issue.

Do you have same problem ? Thank you.

That's not good, either the telemetry format has been changed by spektrum or the new update is buggy or your file is corrupted somehow. My guess is they have changed the format slightly but I can't check as I cant open the file you posted. Can you attach it to your post instead.

It looks like there have been some subtle changes to the file format that is causing the problem. As I'm not privvy to the format of the file and have to work it out myself, I'll have to do a bit more analysis as to what's changed.

If spektrum have changed the format slightly, which is their prerogative as its their file, it becomes a very large task to work out what they have done and time is at a premium on my side, also I no longer use Spektrum radios, which may mean that I have to evaluate whether I withdraw support for the app as it will become unsustainable if future Airware updates can change the telemetry data.
