Looks really cool. How is to control ? Is it the same as a Heli or easier ? What about crashes ? Is it sturdy enough to with stand some impact ?

I got to fly it at IRCHA and it is pretty much the control and response as a helicopter. I imagine there will be a small learning curve with it though. As for crashes, it will be a lot cheaper than crashing a 500 size helicopter, parts are relatively cheap and it is pretty durable.

Are you sure about the cost?! Looking at this design, I thought it seemed to be very expensive to crash (at least in quad terms). After all, those are 4x tail hubs from a 700, running 110mm radix blades....over here they are about 30 euros per pair. A crash that takes out all 4 sets of blades is going to be pricey in baldes alone....on a normal quad I've seen blades for less than 1 euro each?

Maybe there'll be a plastic blade option to keep the costs down, I don't know of any in this size though.

Mind you, I'm still tempted by this, it looks like fun!

Stock blades are plastic on this quad.
Here is a link to the parts with prices. Prices are USD so a conversion is needed.

Oh ok, that doesn't look too bad then.

Now I'm even more tempted....any dealers in Austria or Germany? I never see Rave stuff here, people don't seem to know about it at all?

It looks like a great quad. Looks like a lot of fun to fly. What about setting up the controller ? By computer ? Is it relatively easy setup ? Good instructions ?

I wish there was a hobby shop in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada with good support for parts on all Curtis Younblood Helis and Quads.

From what I understand it will be by computer. Plug the quad into the computer via USB and it will download all the software needed to fly. If you want a more aggressive setup all you do is upload a more aggressive firmware. I'm sure it will have great instructions on how to do everything, the Ballistic and ENV helicopters have the best manuals I have ever seen.

Amainhobbies.com should be carrying the parts. I'm not sure they ship international, but I know here in the states, you order something from them it shows up 3-4 days later.

Freeskiken, as to the set up, the TotalG Multi is setup via leds on the TGM only.
The instructions have not been released yet.

I am sure the instructions will be good just like the Rave Helicopters. Best manuals of any Helicopter. A Main Hobbies does ship internationally. It just would be nice if Canada had a RC shop to ship from Canada. The waits (customs) and costs are longer always shipping internationally.

They don't show using locktite when putting the sections together. Is that an error?

I believe he mentioned the bolts have loctite on the from the factory. He did mention to loctite the motor bolts though. In the manual it does mention to loctite anything going into metal, which would be a great idea even if the bolts already have loctite on them from the factory.

No. Don't believe they are. Curtis designs the prototype at his shop in Texas and the design is sent overseas to be mass produced and then all the parts are sent back to Texas to be sent out to various shops.

Quality with Curtis is top notch though, as well as the customer service.

Would like to order one. They look cool to fly. Would be cool to put lights on it. For orientation as well.
