Is the 350QX powerful enough to lift fpv and/or gimbal as well?

Is it possible that he flew it on a depleted battery?

Came down from flight 1 at about 8 minutes with 20% left in the battery. It had a fair amount of wind to deal with. Had some oddities in flight 2 so I didn't run the full pack. Going to try calibrating the compass this evening and give it another run and I hope to have more details to report, and some better video to post.

Default 350 QX Crash Video

Listening to the audio tones after the crash, I would have to say the user accidentally hit throttle cut instead of return to home.

You can hear the quad arm after it lands/crashes (the pilot lowered the throttle stick to a pulse window where the 350 QX can arm)

If the quad had a motor or ESC failure, the LED would have flashed WHITE with continuous warning tones. (this warning occurs in-case you need to find it in a field or can't see where it landed).

The quad is monitoring the relative speed of each propeller. If one prop slows down, the main board will shut off all props assuming you have hit /are hitting something.

Anytime the "Warning" LED comes on, the power must be cycled to restart it. In this case, the power did not need to be cycled.

Not too shabby. The video quality looks pretty good to me. Congrats on being the first non-Horizon person to upload a video.

I think I'll be letting you guys beta test it for a few months before I'm going to think about pulling the trigger on one of these. I want to see some videos of it going full bore in agility mode. I can dig the technology factor, but I think I'd get bored with it pretty quick compared to collective pitch helis. I know my mQX pretty much collects dust.

Agreed, I'd certainly never replace any of my CP's with it, but its got potential to be a great supplement.

AND, something to do while the plankers are taking up airspace as well.

I didn't flip into agility mode last night as quite honestly, my main intent for this is for filming, but I do plan to this eve, and hope to have some better vids to share.

Mix of a little low altitude, higher altitude, and return to home test. Return to home landed within about 4 feet of the starting location each time.

350QX Low Alt, high alt, return home (3 min 1 sec)

First rushed test with and without ND4 filter, it was too windy to be useful though, I've slowed to half speed to smooth a bit.

Blade 350 QX Quadcopter first gopro test flight - very windy day - with and without ND4 filter (1 min 34 sec)

Will repeat when its calmer, and am sure video will be much better, also will experiment with flying in agility mode with low rates as I think may be smoother without GPS constant corrections.

The quality of your video looks great - very steady! I may need some adjustments to my GoPro because i had more shimmering than that. What settings did you use and which GoPro do you have?

Not sure if you're referring to mine or jamesb72, but I'll throw mine in here since I hadn't and probably should have earlier in the thread.

Hero 3 Silver. The first I posted was recorded in 720 at 60FPS, the second was 720 at 30FPS.

Both videos were recorded with the GoPro mounted in its waterproof case, I haven't tried the mount that comes with the QX yet, but will on my next outing to compare.

Absolute fake!!!! You an clearly hear two heli's at the start. One is running before the alleged 350 QX gives it's happy tone...

...and how quickly does he removed the GoPro? No way on this earth does he remove it that quickly, unless it had snapped off!

Plus, a crash like that would have made the white lights flash and the continuous tones sound.

A poor attempt to undermine confidence in HH's new product!
