The new washers are 2mm thick. old ones are 1mm thick. Easiest way to tell.

Ok. I'm confused. Here's the content of my H3 bag. Clockwise from bottom right ...

Grips
M4 washers and 8x12.5x0.5 washers
Thrust and radial bearings
(Faulty?) stepped washers
No idea!? What are these !??

Ok, ignore this one. Just realised they're the main blade bolts ... must read the manual fully before posting next time ...

I could only get them to send one set even tho I purchased several sets of feathering shafts. Try calling them again, I don't know if being in Canada makes a difference on how the recall is handled.

Country has nothing to do with it, I'm willing to bet they have limited inventory.

Are Horizon still supporting the 700X?.. it was discontinued a couple of years ago (as I'm sure you all know) so I doubt Horizon want to know anything about it.

I guess they should have at least enough to cover all that were sold with wrong washers ?

Will call them later today...

Bought it in december 2014 but never flew it apart from hovering in the backyard, then bought tail gears last month it renew my interest so I read most of the posts

Now this...would probably find something that fits but with blades that long, I would prefer the correct washers

Maybe so when the recall was made four years ago but if they are no longer supporting the heli with spare parts will they have even kept them? I very much doubt it.

It's worth enquiring of course but I'm betting you don't get a favourable response, if any response at all.

I received my set about a year ago. I'll reach out to James and see if he can check inventory. As far as country goes, I don't know if the US office serviced Canada, like for Europe they have to go thru the Europe office, not sure if there is a Canada office.

Thank you for doing this, can't seem to go thru at HH customer service, keep getting on hold ?!

I have been helped by the US branch in the past, they do service Canada.

They sure did, a friend of mine got a replacement set on the recall. Really though, it only affected the washers, a high grade replacement could easily be sourced.

James is going to look into stock, if you do call in just reference the Recall and explain your bought a kit in box and it has the original bad washers. When I hear back from James I'll let you know.
