You have installed your washout arms incorrectly. The washout arms linking to the swash should be parallel to the main shaft. If you were to move your arms 180 degrees they would be in the correct position.

No worries! It is an easy thing to miss. I think I may also have gotten that wrong IIRC and had to fix while building mine.

That still does not look 100% correct?
My long links, the ones from swash to grip are perfectly vertical, it may be a optical illusion but yours look on an angle?

Wow the gensace 1200mah 40c are a tight fit. I cant believe they are 1200, more like 1400 by the weight and size alone. The only way i got them in was to find thin velcro , and i still have to manuver them in. I rather ditch the tray, it supposed to make battery mounting easy.
My idea of easy is the x5, slap it on and velcro. Done.

Just seems like extra work , for less space and i can put packs in faster without the tray

I just got two more of the Gens Ace 1200 40C and another set of the battery tray things, so now I have all 4 Gens Ace mounted on the plates. My plan is to keep the Gens for the Gaui, and cycle the rest though my other 6S 450s

Out of my 3 other 6S machines, the Gaui is the most power hungry, so I think it deserves the larger packs

How do you keep the velcro from getting stuck when putting the tray in. I keep on getting caught on the frame

Yup that happens, I just press it in with my thumb as I slide it in or out... took a bit, but now I am kind of programed to do it!

I have very thin Velcro...

On the GenAce 1200mah.

Can you just face the battery down? What I mean is, the power wire is on the bottom instead of the side.

Will it still fit and no mods on the frame?

Could not find any batteries other than Align ones. And the HK ones are out of stock.

my gens 40c 1200 fit with zero mods. pretty tight, you have to coax the straps in as you push the pack in. im getting 5 minutes of flight time at 2700 rpm.
nothing crazy, just chasing my tail around tuning. i finally gave up trying to get it right again. really need those head upgrade bearings made of unobtainium

but they only go in one way, they are bigger in width on one side, so the lead end up on the sides, left or right. it cant fit in the frame with the leads facing down or up

I just got a reply for the Glacier battery

They would not have them until by next year.

I am tempting to get the Genace 1200, I may have a hard time putting this on and may regret the purchase later.

I'm afraid that it is a tight fit and might put some stress on the frame since it is only holding by screws on a plastic battery mount.

I just opened a box from the AlignTrexStore.com A pair of their new 1250 45C. They look nice, and will fit with no issues at all, lots of extra room from thick lush velcro! LOL
