Mine are from the first batch. They are supposed to give less pop than the newer ones. I bumped the head speed from about 50 rpm and the cyclic gain on my Skokum 540. I don't remember how much I bumped the gain but it was definitely necessary.

So any update on the "V2" new batch of these blades?

Got a few sets coming to test as well.

I had a set of v1. I sold them and wish I didn't. They rock. But then again honestly I have not had a set of blades that didn't rock.

Eventually my parcel arrived from the dark side of the moon!

Flew them today on my TDR and all I can say is that it is all true what Nick claims, perfect tracking, even at high speed, cyclic authority is great and very linear, collective as true as you can wish for. BUT the best part is how efficient they are, at least 12% less mAh consumed for the same type of flight compared to other blades I have, Rail and Radix.

Thanks Nick I have a new favourite blade.

Yep. Experience is out of stock on them. Heli Direct seems to always be in stock with them.

Helix are hands down my favorite blades.

I have been flying the 715s on the mostro, and they are the fastest, hardest hitting blades I've ever flown. When I do hard pitch pumps, they bite so hard that it makes a "gunshot" sound. Literally, the people I fly with call it a gunshot. It's LOUD, and it echos through the trees.

They are super crisp on cyclic, and super fast.

Just for comparison, I bought a pair of edge 713s that my local hobby shop had on the shelf for years. Always heard good things about Edge, so I figured what the hell. They we ok, but they didn't even compare to the Helix. They were a good bit "softer" on the collective which I didn't like.

Helix are now back on the mostro to stay.

Such a shame. Seems the Helix blades really were amazing. I'm currently on a quest to find another blade that is at least as quick on cyclic as the Helix.

These have been unfourtenetly discontinued. I messaged Nick on FB abit back and they are no longer being made. While they didn't auto great, they were fantastic for hard 3D and fast on cyclic. We really are down on blade choices these days, sucks.
