I really hope they do not stop making them. They are by far the best blades I have ever flown. Well I thought I saw nick maxwell flying radix blades on his diabolo. I've never flown radix but if that's nicks second choice I guess they are worth a shot

Got some flights on the helix blades. As far as feel goes these are the best for me. I do however need to see the disk to keep orientation and these just don't reflect anything. The disc is invisible to me.

I'm going to keep flying them and see if i can get use to the disc being gone.

Helix was shutdown as a result of Nick's contract with Futaba.

Interesting, where did you get that info from? What would Futaba's interest behind that? I heard it was simply because VBlades went bankrupt.

I haven't heard that VBlades was gone. That's interesting...

The story I heard was that it was part of the non-compete clause in his contract. Keep in mind that (afaik) he isn't just sponsored by Futaba but he actually works for them now.

Ultra weird. Futaba doesn't even have blades?

http://vblades.com/ has been down for months now.

Yeah... some big companies are just weird like that. I guess they saw NickMaxwellProducts as "competition".

Man that sucks...

Who owns the design? Why not sell the design to someone else?
