I got an email from CanoMod today.

"Dear Sir

For the T-REX 500 will be some delay of the molding process.

thank you"

I replied, asking CanoMod to cancel my order and to refund my purchase.

CanoMod should not advertise that they have items in stock, if they don't have them.
That's just wrong! Lying F***ers!

I agree, Canomod is alienating customers. I haven't gotten any update from them in over two weeks and no response to my email inquiry.

I ordered one to said there were 5 in stock. I even paid 30 dollars shipping to get it quick. almost 3 weeks go by i email them.Finally i get a answer days later saying same thing about being some delay.WTF! Be last time ill ever order one from them I got a 100 dollars ive already paid for and dont know when ill be getting it

I emailed canomod saying if they cant give me a date refund my money. See how long it takes to get a email from them. Personally i think there comunications suck. They said they had 5 instock and charged me 30 dollars shipping for something they havnt even made yet. And now they say will be sometime? Ill never buy or recomend them ever. Dont here within the week going to file a claim with paypal

Start your claim already, and run all communications through PayPal. That will make your case much stronger later on, if you can not reach an agreement.

Do realize that PayPal can take up to 30 days to even give you an initial response? The one time I did it, after a week, I'd heard nothing.

If nothing else, it puts the seller on notice that you really mean it...

totally agree. start the ball rolling now. I have also heard that you only have 45 days to make a claim with paypal.

You do not start by taking it up with PayPal, but through PayPal.

That way PayPal start to log what goes on between you and the seller, but they do not interfere unless you "escalate" your claim.

I have done this twice, with no "action" from PayPal and it worked great both times, and I got my money back. (As far as I have understood, the seller - more or less - just have to press an "agree button" to return your payment)

You dont get the tail rotor clamp assembly with the kit, just the tail box, shaft, cog and radial bearings.
Quick uk are going to be producing a 500 tail clamp assembly, hoping it is going to ba as good as the 600 one they did.

Thanks - then they are not for me. These tail grips are really loose.

I emailed bud at Quick uk and he has them on the drawing board, so there drawn up. Just need to be manufactured now, it wont be long. He has a 500 himself so knows the ins and outs of the 500.

Cant wait to get mine, i recon il get a silver set

Sounds great.

If they are rock solid, they will be a sure hit, because the stock tail unit seems way to "wobbly" to my liking.

Quick UK tails for ther 600 series are the best out there, no doubt they will be for 500 as well as Budd does good research and makes them right first time.

I got an email from CanoMod today:

"Dear Sir

their is some problem with the modling of the T-REX 500, We do have the canopy in stock but it's not perfect, we don't want our customer to have any problem with the canopy, so we didn't send them out yet.

Pls wait abit longer we will ship to u asap
