@bren_dino,

Refer to the last 10 seconds of my flight for an autorotation with the X3. It is fairly easy to hold momentum and rotorhead inertia while descending- just a little bit of negative pitch is all it takes. Forward speed is important, because you can turn it into headspeed when you flare! The X3 doesnt have a super light disc, so you dont have much hang time after you flare. Practice makes perfect, but you'll find that flaring a foot or two off the ground will give you enough time to slow her down before touchdown..

Rippin the Gaui X3 + MicroHeli Upgrades! (3 min 11 sec)

Good luck,
Patric

*apologies for the video in a picture thread, just wanted to demonstrate what I meant.

Honestly, that does not look like a legit place to fly, there was a sun bather, and a kid playing football right there?

Other than that, they were looking good, I don't practice backward autos all that much, mostly do them forward and nose in to me?

Just from the last few frames of your video, it looked like it cost you a lipo? did you sever the balance lead off the pack?
