Default 450 DFC Pro tail servo

What is the best choice for the 450DFC tail? I was considering the JR 89000G or the Servo King DS 790SHV, after doing a little research I see many are using the smaller DS 95i and similar with an adapter or tail mounted. Would the smaller servo with an adapter or tail mounted be the best solution?

Thanks in advance,
Scott

The first servos you listed are "standard" servos, and too big. The JR DS3500G is a "mini" servo and a good choice. MKS make a DS8910A+ also a Mini servo. Futaba sell a couple, the S9257 is a staple servo for the 450Pro, they have a BLS 257, I am using the DS515 from KST, have them on lots of 450, good servos...

Thanks Trexwilly, I think I will go with the Futaba S9257.

Sirkle-

I am running the Futaba 9257 on my DFC Pro, If I can make a recommendation I would say go with the MKS 8910A+. I have it on my 450L and it is a much better choice. The 9257 is a good servo but it's kind of dated now. The 8910A+ is rock solid and in my experience holds a lot better in demanding maneuvers.

Thanks Jetblue, I just bought three RJX cyclic servos and a MKS 8910A+ from Way2evl in the sale forum for another 450 build. Also ordered a DS 95i with the 9257, haven't decided which I will use on the 450 DFC Pro. I read in one thread about CG issues with the 450 DFC, having to add weight to the nose end, not sure if the DS 95i with an adapter would help lighten the tail a bit.
Thanks,
Scott
