Default LED nav lights on 180qx

Has anyone noticed that the motor bracket cover appears to have a spot to fit the bulb type LED lights? I am going to wire some into the battery leads on the board, unless hooking up to the camera jack is possible.

EDIT: not thinking ahead, I burned out the set of red 3mm LED bulbs I had. So I went to radio shack and got a set of 5mm pink LED 30mA 3.5V-4V. The red ones are a lower voltage, so you'll need a resistor.
3mm is the correct size for the arm cover. If you get 5's, you will need to widen the hole.
Correct size:
I am wiring them parallel, and since I'm not using a camera, I'm hooking them up to the camera port. I flew with the blue LEDs hooked up, and on my 600mAh battery, seemed to have no effect on longevity (I generally run it for about 8min. )

Will post more results when done.

The blue ones work. I need to find another set for the rear.

Thank you. Flight time dropped to right at 8 minutes. But, I was flying pretty aggressively.
