Default Align 450se V2 for Phoenix !

Well this thread is for the folks not following the thread. https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=54043

I took some photos of my v2 then used corel to stretch them into place. All you have to do is copy the bitmap file into your C:\Program Files\PhoenixRC\resources\objects\aircraft\helicop ters\Electric\trex450SE directory (Make sure you get a copy of the old file in case you don't like mine ).

Basically the heli is a 450se V2 kit with:
Neu motor
K&B tail blades
gorilla paddles

The bitmap file is 3MB so iam not sure wheres a good place to put the file. If anyone is interested you can PM with your email addy and i can forward it that way unless someone has a better idea.

Got the file. Thanks. I'm feeling inspired enough to try it myself. Well....maybe not that inspired. Looks like a fair bit of work slicing and dicing pixels.

The scenery is from a free german sim that has been converted (take a look at this thread https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=57026 ). I believe the file has been taken down while they sort out the permission from the creator so i won't be sharing it just yet . The other helis are much more straight forward to edit than the 450se. The 450se doesnt have photos of both sides of the canopy so its hard to get things to line up.

Yeah that was tricky to take. Try flying low and inverted while scrambling to find the print screen button (not labelled on a MAC keyboard). Took the shot of show off the NEU motor. I emailed Phoenix to ask them if they would add the ability to take a screenshot with a spare channel on the Tx, i think they might include it on the next update !

Wow that is talented! I thought for sure someone pushed the buttons for you.

Can you email it to me too? Still haven't figured out how to import that heli I copied it to the directory you said. Just too excited with Phoenix I will get it eventually.

Just put zip content to

Hey HFG I was flying with you the other day on phoenix, nice job there on the V2

Is it just me or does the canopy look yellow/gold? or is that from the scenery?

Its the stock white/yellow/blue canopy. Its take from a photo of my heli so the lighting of my room and the sim make it look more yellow then it really is.

I noticed right away this seems like my V2. It may have a bit more unbogable to it but the climb/roll rate is pretty much on.

I looked at the settings for the 3D and the kw for the motor is the same as from Phoenix but the RPM is like double?

I would like to hear others opinions on their V2. This reminds me of running 13T 100 flat.

Unzip it to the directory he told you. If you don't like it delete the directory he told you. Just the Trex 450 SE V2 directory it makes.

You will like it.

Go to

C:/Program Files/PhoenixRC/resources/objects/aircraft/helicopters/Electric/trex450se

and rename trex450SE.bmp to trex450seOLD.BMP (this will be the file you use to get back the old version if you dont like mine.

Now copy my file into this directly and go fly !

HFG I realize I am insane but I appreciate that most the time you act like I am not.

I was answering to this one. This package rocks.

Hi, Seaky.

You can add another model with a new sub directory, trex400sev2 and 500 red. Can you explained that to us? Edit *.geo and *.fly file?

Btw, nice, HFG,...thanks to you all.

Cheers.
