Lightbulb Stagility, it's a new flight mode - For dx6i radios and up!

Have you ever wanted to be able to flip the 350qx but were worried you would over or under input?

Or have you wanted agility to fly like agility but corrected like stability when you needed it most?

Well if you have, there are a few mixes below that will let you do just that Flight videos and instructions on various radios are below.

Stagility, it's a new flight mode! 180qx, 200qx and the 350qx (9 min 54 sec)

FOR ANY RADIO YOU MUST ALREADY BE IN STANDARD STABILITY MODE TO BE ABLE TO PROPERLY ACCESS STAGILTY!

Dx9/18

Set all as 3 point curves.
AlL/GER and ELE/GER
1)-125
2)0
3)-125

Make GER/GER
1)0
2)-50 or less (suggested -45)
3)0

To make the transition larger, lower the GER/GER towards 0. To make it smaller increase the negative number up to -50%

IF YOU WANT ALL VOICE COMMANDS AND AUTO START/STOP FEATURE PLEASE SEE THE DOWNLOAD LINK AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST.
Here is a demo of the auto start feature and all the voice commands (minus the newly added on/throttle cut voices to the momentary start switch)
DX9 - 350qx & Full Time Stagility Flight (5 min 19 sec)

350qx Out in the Cold W/Stagility (4 min 26 sec)

This is a different way to program Stagility on the dx9 to different switch layouts than in my video, though shows how easy it is to setup anyway you want
DX9 Program Guide For 350QX & 180QX StaGility Mode (1 min 21 sec)

Dx8 mix - These mixes can be used on the dx9/18 if wanted as well --Thanks to HFman (RJBishop on rcgroups) for a great start on using mixes without curves for ALL the lower channel radios.

Mix 1- ALE-Gear
Rate: -125%
+125%
Offset: 0
Sw: Mix1 (Throttle Hold switch)

Mix 2- ELE-Gear
Rate: -125%
+125%
Offset: 0
Sw: Mix 1

Mix 3 - Gear-Gear
Rate: 0%
+100%
Offset: 50% or less (suggested 45%)
Sw: Mix 1

Gear to gear will give you adjustability of stability to agility transition. As you lower the offset below 45% it will make the center of the stick less sensitive.

DX7s - Thanks to FoosYou for dialing it in
*suggestion permanently toss standard agility mode and use THold toggle as the SW

Mix 2- ALE-Gear

Offset: 0
Sw:

Mix 3- ELE-Gear

Mix 4 - Gear-Gear THIS IS AN ADDITIONAL GEAR MIX! Leave the stock mix 1 Ger/Ger alone!
Rate: 0%

Offset: -50% or less (suggested -45%)
Sw:

Gear to gear will give you adjustability of stability to agility transition. As you lower the offset below 45% it will make the center of the stick less sensitive.

Mixing the 6th channel for tilt gimbal or servo use

Many do not realize that the 6th channel on the Blade 350qx is only used at 85% to activate RTH. This means you have almost an entire channel to use if you use a simple mix.

R Knob (or any other switch) to aux1
rate 100% and 123%
Offset 50%

Switch- RTH toggle (off position)

Oh heck ya! I'm afraid to put it into agility mode for fear of not being able to
recover before the dreaded crash! Would love to put it into my TX!!!!!

There isn't one YET. Indoorheli is a good buddy of mine, so he sent it off to me as soon as he got back from the park. I'm sure he'll post it though, just hang tight.

Let me take a guess here. Moving the aileron or elevator to an extreme (say past 75%), changes the mode to agility. And as soon as you release the aileron or elevator back to center (or less than 75%), mode changes back to stability. Grandma will be flying loops and rolls in the backyard!

Shane got a vid via skype earlier today, no video online yet.

Sorry, guys I am at the park testing lower rates aka 100% rates to makes sure it works as it did at max ( i fly at EPA150% and rates at 125% =max possible)

[email protected] - no it does not take an extreme movement, it is very quick and close to center
