Stagility, it's a new flight mode - For dx6i radios and up!

I am long way from being able to fly in agility mode. I recently purchased the dx9 but I have not set it up to the 350 QX. Can someone share the basic or default setup?

While trying to figure out a mix that works for a dx8 due to user input that it didnt work well on two 3 point curves, I made a new mix. It makes stagility even faster on response from stability to agility for the dx9 and makes it work with a dx8 using a combo of 3 mixes

It is now a 3 mix combo for best results. Please check first post with an update to the mixes later today

The dx9 is an amazing radio, voice, wtr, assignable switch and channels, sequencer, curves, pre-flight check, better gimbals, model utilities, system menu access, more models and then even more stuff.

BTW If you set different rates, remember that the dx9 has rates call out so you can tell if you just gave low,mid or high rates with a specific switch.

I see that it doesn't work on my DX7s...which saddens me greatly...so I guess a DX9 is in the works now. Did I miss the SPM file?

RJBISHOP has been trying a different mix for his dx8 in the regular mix menu.

Try this and test it on the bench, if this works it should work for a dx6i too

Rate- -125%
+125%
Offset- 0%

It seems to me the best way to set the center offset sensitivity is simply sub-trim the gear channel so that it is very close to the agility/stability switch point. That way it doesn't matter what my dual rates are set for.

I had to use the sequencer for flight mode on my nano qx instead of mixes.

Yep, this worked on the DX8:

Mix 1- ALE-Gear
Rate: -125%
+125%
Offset: 0
Sw: Mix1 (Throttle Hold switch)

Mix 2- ELE-Gear
Rate: -125%
+125%
Offset: 0
Sw: Mix 1

Gear SubTrim: -112 (You may need to adjust this a little. Adjust this so that when in stability mode, you are just a couple points away from switching into Agility mode)

Gear Travel: (This evens out the sub-trim introduced above as close as is feasible)
65%, 150%

Here is the revised video utilizing the three curve mixes for better adjustability for the center transition of stability/agility

Stagility, it's a new flight mode! 180qx, 200qx and the 350qx (9 min 54 sec)

I have a DX7s, and I'm don't understand what we're doing here with the mix as well as I would like.

Will someone post up that they have this working with a DX7s once they get it. I'm concerned that we already have to use a mix with the 7s to activate agility mode because it doesn't have the 3 position flight mode switch that the DX8 has.

Well, I tried to duplicate the settings in post #1 in My Nano QX, but alas something is not right...Switch H does nothing at all, cant get the red light unless I switch modes as before

Anyone got an idea what might be wrong?
