Thanks for the updates.

Not what I was expecting a tri head , DFC, and possibly belt driven tail?
The tail..........innovative.

Would the motor be behind the main rotor when installed?

The Triabolo head is limited to 1850, I wonder what this will be limited too? And type of blades. Would the head gave its own dampening or special blades like the Triabolo?

Beautiful.

Jan looks like a proud father holding his new born baby in the hospital.

Default New Henseleit speed?

Tail is tilted downwards, therefore belt driven tail and relativly larger tail fin. When hovering the fuse is tilted backwards, therefore the higer tail rotor is needed for landing!
Fins under tge fuse act as stabilators during fff and as landing gear.
The rear servo rod is going through the intermiate driveshaft... Tail belt is riotated 90° directliy after the gear and enters the tailboom already rotated flat. More infos to follow

How fat is that main gear

Well it is more revolutionary than anything we could have expected. Definitely not going to be a upgrade kit for the TDR.

I can remember the first time i heard a TDR doing a speed run. That pod racer sound is one reason i purchased the TDR. I cant even imagine what this will sound like with big headspeeds and heaps of pitch, those massive gears. Im guessing there will be nothing even close.....

I think the competition will be sitting back scratching there heads wondering if Jan is a genius or completely lost the plot. If it goes out and thrashes the current records the competition will have some work to do to catch up.

Wow, just wow! Not what I expected and I wouldn't think a tri would be the best for speed. Shows what I know.

It looks fantastic.

This is some extremely impressive engineering.

Can you find anything he didn't change?

Tri-rotor
Narrow rotor Linkage inside the swash body for a smaller opening in the top of the full fuse.
Gear driven cyclic links on tracks. You can't get any more linear than that!
Motor in back.
Belt driven elevator linkage through intermediate gear.
Ultra compact.
MASSIVE main gear
Belted tail, and we still haven't seen the the drive mechanism in the tail.
Aerodynamic fins for landing gear. I can only assume they optimize the angle of attack.

Have you seen any vents in the fuse?

Think they will start selling X713 Speed blade in triple packs now?

Default New Henseleit speed?

Vents will be in the later versions. On Top in front of the Shaft for cooling flow for the esc and in the back for the motor.

I was expecting a lot based on what Oliver told me at IRCHA last year. He said it was nothing like anything I had seen before and he was right. I tried not to guess what I would see and I wouldn't have guessed this

However it was just pointed out to me that the Henseleit website has a new tab under the Three Dee Rigid that says "Conversion kits coming soon." So it looks like he will be selling kits to take our existing fleet of TDR's up to the next level. Dang it! He found a way around my no new helis this year promise. Upgrading an existing heli doesn't count !!!!
