Default my jeti to spektrum bridge box!

Almost done! Just waiting on my green 12mm power indicator led to show up. I do not want to forget to turn it off LOL! The power indicator will go where the screwdriver is sticking out in the last photo of box assembled.
2nd photo is balance tap. I will charge and balance thru the tap!
This allows me to fly my xtreme framed bird with 3+1 or any spektrum BNF model with my jeti tx.
Orange spectrum tx module, thunderpower 2s 1900mah rx pack, and jeti r4 rx in ppm+ out mode.
Ya I have to screw the tx module antennae on LOL!

It does not go on the back of my tx!! It stays on my table at the club field or wherever I set it when flying in my cul de sac. It could probably be 300 ft or WAY more from me as long as it is not on the ground. On the ground I guess it would have to be within a 100 or 200 feet LOL! It contains a full range jeti rx feeding the spektrum tx module via ppm
My 9303 set up as a tray radio and fully customized is for sale for those interested. PM me!

Not very aesthetic, but works. And no additional latency, too. Battery lasts 4 hours.

I was also thinking of mounting my bridge to the bottom of my dc-16 tray with Velcro to make it removable. I would need to come up with a stand though so I can rest the tx down on a table when not flying but have the bridge on. I have an idea of mounting 1 or 2 secraft stand legs to my dc-16 tray!!

My alpinetech 12mm power indicator came yesterday. These are nice and bright and only draw 15mah. Here is the final product and also got 6 flights in between rain drops in my cul de sac today on this 130x custom. This one has the 3+1 board in it with a spin 8000 motor on 2s and phoenix 10 esc running set rpm governed. All my other 130/150x's have full blown fbl's, jeti rx and all rotary servos. I hate the stock linear servos for reliability and developing slop LOL!
I feel no latency at all!!!

In case it is Futaba-compatible, than as on your second photo, from right to left:
Signal, Power, NC, Ground, NC. NC means not connected.
You'll need to open the box and solder some wires there.

trying to do a little research
for those of you that use a bridge box do you only fly you mini bnf with it?
I do understand that it has a full range receiver in it.
is that for the signal from the tx?
if so what is the range of the OrangeRx DSMX/DSM2 2.4GHz Transmitter Module?

I fly with a hc3sx and a ikon and they both use satellites to receive signal instead of a full rx..
is it possible to just use my current set up with the bridge box? (hc3sx and 2 sats)
thank you

I believe it is supposed to be a full-range module. But its quality and reliability is a thing of concern here.
