You don't need to change the order of function, you just need to change the order on the servo assignment page.

Once that's set it shouldn't change. Certainly nothing you do on the FBL should change it. When you say you're trying to assign the BeastX, what do you mean?

What protocol does BeastX use? Are you sure it's set? Dan

I’m not a BeastX guy but it looks like it will work with Jeti EX bus.

So if you’re using EX bus, then the Jeti RX will need to be set to send EX...

1) Bind Rx
2) set to send EX
3) connect to FBL

Esprit has some good videos on how to setup a generic heli in the transmitter:

Helicopter Programming: Basic Setup (12 min 53 sec)

I think the question he has is about channel mapping and is specifically answered starting around 2:40.

Default Order

What Iím trying to do is use ch 1 for throttle and ch 2 for governor control on a rex3. I need the physical ports.. the rest goes to Beastx.

Deleted my explanation, because myxiplx said it better and more logically one post down. I was sort of winging it, and made it more complicated than it needed to be. Any signal can be assigned to any servo port. The signal stream needs to be in the order beastx wants it. Easy Peasy.

Aaah, now it makes sense. I think you're getting a few things mixed up here, but once you get your head around how this works, Jeti does make this fairly simple.

1. Functions
Don't change the function order, use the default settings here.

2. Servo Channel Order
This must be set to the order the BeastX expects, and probably needs to be left at the defaults. You're going to be connecting to the BeastX using a single wire protocol (ExBus is recommended if supported), and so the channel order the radio uses here MUST match the order the BeastX is set to.

3. Receiver outputs
Now go to Device Explorer in your radio, and open up the settings for your REX receiver. Set the protocol the BeastX expects for your single wire output, and also assign the channels you want on those specific servo output ports.

That last step is the key thing with Jeti flexibility. The *receiver* is flexible enough to assign any channel to any port. You don't need to adjust either the function or servo orders to do this, you just tell the receiver which channels are going to which ports.
