Are you looking for an other fight with Jeti and ZB? (Just a rethorical question, no need to answer)
My apologies, I didn't mean to dig up a past topic.

I am from Texas and currently looking to purchase a Jeti coming from a Futaba 14SG. You can check out the RCHN forum for my questions. You can also find me on RCG (ben_beyer) and giantscalenews.com (Notorious B.E.N.).

If I remember correctly this issue was linked to the radio not being transported correctly, with a piece of the packing in the case not being used after initial delivery. Not sure if this was the explanation for both incidences but rest assured it is not a common issue.

Thanks!

That's the first time I've ever seen a broken stick.

No problem. The way you brought it up it seemed like it was your plane hence my connection.

Yes that was the issue. Use the casing and protecting foam which is part of the lid for the case of the DS but is free floating in case of the DC.

No worries. If the guy keeps coming back with different names, you had a reason to be suspicious.

By the way I come from a long line of JR radio and I never regretted my switch, since 2 years now, to Jeti.

Coming from an equally good company as JR with Futaba, I think you will not regret going to Jeti either.

Same here, switch from a Futaba 18MZ 2 years ago and never looked back. Recently sold the 18MZ too.

Yeah, I'm thinking I'm going to make the switch but I will probably wait for the DS-24 to come out.

I may still just get a DS-14 though. Sometimes it's easier to keep things a little simpler.

It's plenty of radio.

That brings my fleet up to 4 again. A TDR-2 is coming in a couple months.
