![]() Regardless of the glitches I am starting to like Accurc after some tuning. I think it would be useful to get info on the hardware people are running, what Physics FPS (PFPS) they are getting and how the sim actually feels. I know this is a geeky post but with enough info it will be easier for people to determine whether they can run the sim now, if they need a new PC or just need to upgrade components such as CPU or GPU.
The sim flies fine and the graphics quality is pretty decent. ![]() Win 7
I5.2500K Overclocked to 3.6GHZ NVIDIA GTX 760 8GB I'm getting 750 to 800 PFPS. Vsync off, 120 fps. 1080P. I wonder why you get half the performance? The i5 has 4 cores, but supports hyper threading. So it takes 8 threads. I wonder if that's the reason? Tried it on a haswell 2.6 ghz dual core. Not usable. 100 PFPS. |

![]() I think there are a ton of variables that affect this so I'll be a little more verbose:
Laptop: Macbook Pro Retina (Late 2013) Windows 8.1 Enterprise x64 (Bootcamp) Intel Core i7-3740QM @ 2.70GHz 16GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M SIM: Resolution: [email protected] (1080p) Full Screen Antialiasing Level: AA8 Smoke Quality: High Shadow Quality: High Frame Skipping: No Texture Quality: High Target Framerate: 120fps VSync: Off Control System FPS: 800 Physic: Auto Enable Graphics Multithreading: Yes Results: Graphics FPS: 80 - 115 Physics: 369 - 466

![]() I7 4790K 4ghz stock, 16 GB ram geforce 780ti, 1080p 120Hz, physics 800-900
q6600 2.7 ghz, 4gb ram, geforce 660ti, 1050, 120hz, physics 390-480. Control lag on both. Much less so with vsync unlocked.

I expected I might be low down the totem on this but I am suprised in the PFPS rates you guys are getting. I do wonder if Accurc could be using intel optimised function libraries that are not working as well for AMD (conspiracy - lol!). I went out and bought a GTX 760 yesterday. The sim works even better but no suprise my PFPS only jumped up 9 points to 409. We need more AMD data or I might end up building an intel machine and that will turn out to be a very expensive sim. ![]() |

![]() Yes, I understand the PFPS is a factor of CPU power. Never the less I was hoping my graphics card was a bottleneck and that switching the card would possibly free up CPU cycles. I was not expecting much and actually did get a small increase.
Accurc appears to be running quite nicely with this GTX760 and my FX 4100. I'l see over the next couple of days how I like it now compared to my other sims. EDIT: BTW, my chip is almost falling off the bottom of the min spec while the i5 is recommended. This is just to say I think Accurc did a good job in analysing hardware reqs. |

![]() I got my Core Duo laptop to work acceptably.
I have everything turned down, but am running 1920x1080 resolution. I"m getting Video fps 85 Physics fps 360-380 I had to turn down the tail gain compared to my workstation. I can A/B it with RF better now on my big screen HD TV now.

I still have some doubts if my i5 750 will run nicely. I' m planning on doing some oc, but the modern haswell CPU perform so much better ![]()

I'm going to need some additional tax write offs this year. I may justify a high powered laptop. I'm sure I can find "some" other use for it beside as a sim. We'll see...
