Default Stock 9.4 by 4.3 DJI Self Tightening Props for GemFan 8x4.5 Carbon Nylon Props

So, I ordered the e300 system on my f450 frame. Installed the motors and would like to replace the stock 9.4 by 4.3 Dji props with some GemFan 8x4.5 Carbon Nylon Props. The problem is on the DJI 2212 920 kv motor, the shaft is a tad too big for the GemFan prop to slip on too. I've read posts about reaming the prop out, but that sounds like there would be more likely for the prop to break eventually due to loss of mass in the center hub. I've also rad that you can use prop adapters, but I have no clue on size and/or where I would get an adapter that would go from the DJI 2212 920kv motor to the GemFan 8x4.5 Carbon Nylon Props. Any help?

Can't help with the adapters, but I'm curious why you want to change from the DJI ones that already work so well.

The stock DJI props are a bit flimsy and are difficult to balance because they are self-tightening. I plan on doing FPV in the future and would like to have the most stable flight.

The OEM 9443 props work better with the E300 system. They may appear flimsy but they are not. Have you flown them yet? I would think by your post you're just gong on what a few have to say. Al and I use them on our Phantoms and I for one think they are the cat's meow. Smooth and tuned to the E300 ESC's for higher payload, longer flights, and better speed when kicking the platform in the ass.

The E300 kit runs ok on 3s but if you want her to really strut her stuff a 4s battery is loads better.

I also fly the E300 system on my F450 and F550 with excellent results.
