Default Align 3gx elevator throw issue

Hello, I recently purchased an Align trex 500 pro dfc super combo. This is my first 3gx setup and I seem to be having an issue with the elevator throw. I have setup the heli as per the instructions in DIR mode, making sure the swash is level, servo arms are 90, swash is centered, ect. Setting the cyclic throws to 8 degrees and collective throws to 12 degrees is no problem either. Same with elevator and aileron limit and correction direction. The problem happens when I exit out of the setup menu. With full negative collective and full up elevator in DIR mode, the anto-rotation pin does not hit the anto-rotation bracket at all. When exiting out of DIR mode(regular flight mode), the elevator pitch has increased to 15 degrees and the antirotation pin significantly hits the bottom of the anti-rotation bracket when full negative collective and full up elevator is given. I have ensured that the elevator limit in the flight mode is turned all the way down and the problem still exists. I am running a JR 11x with two spektrum dsm2 satilites.
Thank you
Matt

I have the same issue with all of mine. I called Assurance RC and they said it was normal. I still had to go in and set my DR's down to about 75 to 80% to keep the head from bogging on tight elevator flips. The Ailerons seem to keep the programing, but elevator does not.

Thanks for the reply Steven. That's the exact same problem. So I guess the only way around it is to dual rate? Doesn't seem right.

Yes, Dual Rates. And I agree!
