Andreas I am sorry I have overlooked your question the other day.

Idea is that batteries will be placed on each side of the chopper mechanics with access thru back doors, will see how it will work out. Regarding electronics most of it will be on mechanics. The only thing left is lights system and it will be placed at the back of fuselage where is a lot of space.
Probably I will not use sound modul, to be honest haven't even think about that add on option since I find the sound that motor and blades make quite good.

Enjoy,

Peter

I am continuing my work on the center console. The look of the real central part is on the photos below,...

I have used 0.5mm Polystyrol to add panels for realism,..

More detailing next,...

Enjoy, Peter!

Don't remember if you said already, but what mechanics are you planning to install in this fuse? I have the same fuse and and debating what mechanics to go with since there are no more Trex 600E airframes around these days (aside from over priced used ones popping up here and there). Thought about a 700E airframe.......or a 550X and stretch it to 700 but not sure how that would work out.

JetBlue:
You could consider Mikado Logo Mechanics .. a little more $$, but really nice German engineering and quality ?!?

All airframes ..500, 550, 600 and 700 are similar, save for different tail booms, rotor diameters, landing gear, etc. .. very nice stuff in my opinion .. also available in FL USA from mikadousa.com .. EVERYTHING, including parts, is usually in stock !!

I have a handful of Goblins I considered swapping over but just cant get myself to do it. I found a pretty good deal on a lightly used never crashed Trex 700E airframe with the EFL head which I like.

Enjoying your build here!

Merry Christmas Peter:

Yes, it is those details that took a lot of time on my 550 build to get right. I did the heater boxes twice as they were too small the first time around. Looking fantastic. Take care.

Merry Christmas Don!

Regarding miniature detail in making, I feel you VHF Radio is second attempt in making and it looks just close enough so I will use it .

Have a nice holidays!
