Left side of C.C. is finished regarding detailing, what is missing are wires that will be added after painting,.. Time come to finish right side of the central console,..

What is left is to spray filler and wet sand the right part of central console,..

Enjoy,

Peter

Your helicopter looks fantastic so far. It's inspired me to work on mine more. I'm not going for the same level of detail, mine is more of a weekend flyer that looks acceptable. I've enjoyed seeing your progress and look forward to the finished helicopter.

Again it was time for me to make "The fuselage massacre part ten"

So the real heli does have the front lights look as below photo,..

And massacre begun,...

I will use the opening at front for on/off switch

There is still trimming of the openings to be done, but I do believe any further fuselage cutting has ended

That will be all for now, till next time enjoy,

Peter

Couldn't let it be so I have done few additional things to the central console,...

Glued additional glass fiber parts to hold the on/off switch in place and trim the openings, since they were too rought and not enough straight.

Here is the outcome,..

Until next time enjoy,

Peter

I have been working on detailing the opening of landing lights, below is the outcome, not yet all I wanna have there but good progress..

I did receive a call from my colleague Robi saying, my build is going nicely forward so it would be slowly time he makes CNC milled Instruments for my build,... You can imagine what a great surprise for new year 2018 that was for me,... I have a small teaser what to expect,...

That is all for first day in 2018!

"Glass" more precise Vivak material was added to the landing lights section,..

Rivets are missing and grid on inner side of the opening. That will probably be the next thing for me to do,..

Enjoy,

Peter

Very nice peter.

Ron
Hi Ron, and guys sorry for a small stop with my build had a lot of things to take care of before the build continues,...

I was testing the colours for cockpit also the techniques for chipping effect, weathering etc. since I would like my bird to look as real as possible.

First I was applying the primer waited 24 hrs for primer to cure. Than I have applied the aluminium colour as a base. After 24 hours chipping effect was being sprayed that was needed to dry for my test. After it dried enough black mat was sprayed over and effect was tested by brush. It worked flawlessly

After chipping effect test was success, I have sprayed also other colours I will need for my cockpit build,..

You are probably wondering, why am I bothering with painting, well there is good reason. I was e-mailed from my colleague Robi with photos of CNC milled parts of my cockpit instrument table,...

So the game is a foot,...

Enjoy and have fun,

Peter

Yes sorry guys, for delay,.. The biggest problem is time that I just do not have enough. What is important is that build is moving on

Regarding building identical model I think it would be best to start from the scratch since there were so many modifications to Roban fuselage it would be quicker to make it all new from a mould

Thank you guys for nice words, I appreciate it! Also please bear with me since I am working on so many projects time is not my friend.

Peter
