Much better on that cover. I did cringe a bit when I saw the wire sticking out. The details on the body are looking very, very good and will really enhance the look of the body. Keep it up.

Today skids front were the objective,..

Real one is having this look;

And here is how skids are looking on my build

Straight cut on front part of skids and fill made of Glass fiber with epoxy will do the trick

That is for now, details after glue cures. I need to find wider piece of glass fiber to make step plate.

Enjoy,

Peter

This weekend I have continued work on the landing skids,...

The look on the real heli;

And the steping platform on my project;

Material used is made out of glass fiber as a core and covered with polystyrol 0,3mm thick.

I will need to lover the step platform as hols for screwing are too high,..

To be continued,..

So the weather in my country is just great to continue my work on fuselage, what I did first is Pitot tube.

The look on the real one;

And the look on my solution;

The material used Aluminum tube, end of a chemical pencil and polystyrol.

Since the pitot tube was done I continued the work on belly hols.

Real one is having it like this;

What I did is I have made circle tubes out of Polystyrol 0,75mm. Made them a bit bigger then hols and glued them to the inside belly.

The look from below;

That was it for today ,... Waiting for better weather so I can test the mechanics with new follower, links and longer shaft,...

My doughter was again the cameraman, she succeed to make nice video

Testing scale follower and pitch links for my scale JR III project mechanics (3 min 38 sec)

Peter:

NICE Video ..

Good mix of still shots and video, as well as good music choice .. As you mixed the music down near the end of the vid, I picked up the WONDERFUL low speed rotor beat .. FABULOUS !!!

GREAT JOB .. keep those posts, photos and videos coming ..

Work was done on the belly opening as real one is having:

Polystyrol was used as material that was cut and glued to the fuselage ;

Final look is nice add on to the fuselage,... Until next time enjoy!

Today I was on the project doors

Look on the real one;

First I have installed window to see how much I need to repair the look of the windows on my fuselage;

Well what I did first is draw what I wanted to cut from polystyrol:

Than I started to glue material to the fuselage doors;

It looks quite better than before

Made "glass" part that puts nice fresh air into the cabin out of Vivak material.

Well that is it one done, three more to go, but first front doors need to be taken care of , than further I go

Enjoy, Peter

And her majesty EC 135:

Paid a visit to Slovenian Heli Police force, beeing lucky to find EC 135 from Jure on the table. I just had to put my fuselage next to his beauty after all they are "brothers in arms" . It will be nice seeing those two together after JR III will be coloured.

Now I will not post anything for 14 days going to summer leave to the sea side, see ya when I get back!
