I have a 7424 and some M205 to prove it!

As a matter of fact I blame you for getting me into this hobby! After I watched you fly that UDI coax in front of your house! Been hooked ever since!

I will! I'm still looking for a canopy that matches the blue color. IMO the red(ish) canopy doesn't really look good with blue. We'll see, either way.. I'm super excited!

My 200srx really flies great now, I did the servo calibration from HH website and there's no tipping when taking off.

I'll post pictures once it's put together.

Default parts tray

Great post!

Do you know the mfg, model, and/or size of the parts holder and the fruit slicer? Very slick.

Sorry, but I don't. You can get the magnetic screw tray at any auto supply store. They are pretty standard.

Junkman I finished my rakon upgrade today and my main blade are now tight. I know they have to be a little loose that if you point your helis nose down they should drop. But with the rakon head they're tight. Is yours the same? If not, what did you do?

The blades do not need to be that tight. They also don't need to be as loose as you just described. They need to be snug and after every flight, you check the rotor head to make sure that the screws are not backing their way out. That's exactly how mine are.

Just stumbled on this thread. After having done a Rakon heli full build on a trex 150 (Possibly the worst heli ever made). I was thoroughly impressed with the preciseness of your build. Looks great. I have over 20 helis, from a tiny MSR to a Trex 800 and one of my absolute favorites is my 200 SRX. Just a fun heli to fly.

I actually had one fly away on me a couple of months back (night flying) so bought another one to replace it

Now of course, I'll have to go and buy the Rakonheli kit for this one. It'll STILL be cheaper than the $1500.00 I have invested in my Blade 130X (the PREVIOUS worst heli I ever owned)

Thanks for a great build thread.

By the way, I added some more Rakon bling to this bird and bought a second one so that I will never be without at least one flying.

These are addicting! I'm wondering how that other 200 size FP heli is with the flybar, The Nova/Novus? I'll tell you, these 200's are awesome and if you do the Power upgrade they are really smokin' Personally, I like them just the way they are. If I need more power, I can fly my Trex 250, although that doesn't crash quite as politely as the 200 does!~

Just checked and the NOVUS has a dedicated TX. That leaves it out for me. I have too many radios as is, don't need another one. I like BNF. I have a Spektrum 6,7s,8 and my big birds are on Futaba either 8fg super or 14sg. Don't want anymore radios!

I'm with ya' man. One transmitter to learn about is enough for me. Plus, I love how I can switch from RC device to RC device on the fly!

I was hardcore Spektrum for years, but once I got my hands on a Futaba (8fg Super) I was hooked. the way you can change things around to suit your particular setups is mind blowing. I still fly some of my stuff on Spektrum and will probably never give them up completely, but all my really expensive stuff has Futaba stuffed in it. My 14Sg is awesome and flys every kind of Futaba RX.
