![]() Hey,
was wondering if it is possible to use my early version transmitter with a fbl unit ? If so what brands of FBL would be compatable?. I was reading the manual for the skoolum 540 and you can set a variety of transmitter systems and it has one called "traditional reciever" could this be what i have the K-8x reciever, looks like you plug in both reciever and fbl and slap both units on the bird ? Sorry folks so new to FBL, don't have one yet. just a heli kit so far thanks for any suggestions and help .Maybe time to get a more updated radio ?? Cheers chingie |

![]() Yes you can use a traditional receiver with the Skookum as well as most other FBL units. With the Skookum make sure you buy the receiver jumper cables when you buy the 540 as they do not come with them. They work fine this way
